By now we’ve all heard the term Financial Freedom before; where we reach a station in life where the money we have accrued so far is enough to sustain our current living standards without ever having to work again. For many, this will only be a dream that will never be fulfilled. Even if we start our own successful business, most will never have the kind of success to allow us to step away because the goal has been achieved. This will invariably be because the enterprise isn’t as profitable as we had originally planned, or because the operations simply can’t work without us maintaining it day to day. The key is being able to separate ourselves from the business entity. That way, the business entity can run with the appropriate staff employed and we are not confined as the integral heart of the enterprise.

From the start, the enterprise should have a strong foundation of being its own unit, with you the manager at the helm guiding its direction. By making the mistake of calling ‘You’ the ‘organization’, you are following a path that will require you to be there until the very end; the exact opposite of your goal of freedom. Of course, your ability to separate the two will largely depend on the type of product or service the business sells, but today we’ll take a look at how wholesale product sourcing can be used to achieve the desired success.

For a start, global product sourcing is all about the ability to fill consumer demand with items attained via discount means, and making a profit. It doesn’t rely on you providing a service for a paid hourly or project rate. In fact, all of the positions and roles in your business can be filled by anyone skilled enough – when the time comes for you to finally step away. You might be thinking at this stage that it is all well and good to say how wholesale based trade is a great business idea, but how exactly can I reach the kind of freedom I desire? If it’s so easy, how come the other wholesale product sourcing businesses out there haven’t done the same thing?

Admittedly, there are probably thousands of other traders and resellers out there aiming for the same thing you are, and whilst some of them will reach the coveted goal, many will only reach a level of success that will allow them to quit their day jobs. Many more still will not achieve any success at all, attributing their failures to excessive supply and insufficient consumer demand. As mentioned earlier, the key to global sourcing and online trade is to be able to fill the demands of consumer markets through the sourcing of discount products.

What you need to understand about this industry is that your success won't necessarily come from your ability to sell a single item like a popular digital camera to gobal customers. You will more than likely encounter a market saturated with sellers, reducing your profits to just dollars, if any. There are hundreds of thousands of different markets out there and once you have perfected your system of finding markets in need of supply and sourcing the appropriate supplier, you will be well on your way to success in this industry and your ultimate goal of financial freedom.
